1)The following research problems are under investigation.
i) Torsional strength of concrete sec-tions with reference to T. L and I sections.
ii) Rotation capacity of reinforced concrete T sections.
iii) Precast concrete door slab units, wall panels and their connections.
iv) Yield line analysis of R. C. C. annular slabs.
v) Reinforced concrete Rectangular section under combined bending and torsion.

2) Dr. K. T. Krishnaswamy, Professor and Head of the department of Applied Mechanics, who has been selected to participate in the National Associate-ship Scheme, visited Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in May 1972.

3) Prof. P. S. Waikar and Shri. A. P. Pednekar completed M. E. degree cou-rse in structural Engineering. They worked under the guidance of Dr. K. T. Krishnaswamy.

iv) Discussion on the paper ' Distri-buted loads creating combined torsion! bending and shear on L beams with stirrups ', written by Dr. K. T. Krishnaswamy and Shiyekar M. R. Journal of the American Concrete Institute, July 1972
