Prof. (Dr.) Hemant Keshav Abhyankar, born on 21.05.1949, is attaining to 70 years of his age on 21.05.2019. We, on behalf of his thousands of students, propose to felicitate him in a public function and would like to publish the reminiscences of his association with past students and his acquaintances from Industry and academia. To celebrate his 70th birth-day, his students and colleagues have decided to conduct Felicitation Programme on 25th May, 2019. On this occasion, we are inviting write-ups shared by various people with whom Dr. Abhyankar Sir has interacted during his bright and exemplary career. This is to request you to please take your valuable time out to jot-down a brief experience, to illustrate his qualities, that you might have experienced with Dr. Abhyankar Sir in the past. We would like to consolidate all such experiences and present a “Souvenir” to the society. This will definitely be useful on the path of progress for all of us in future.
