Conventions And Conferences Attended. Papers Presented And Published:

1) Prof. B. D. Kelkar, Dr N. K. Sane and Shri P G. Ramdasi attended 28th National Convention of industries held at ‘N1TIE' Bombay and presented a paper 'Industrial Engineering for Rural Development '.

2 ) Shri N. D. Bapat and shri M. Y. Khire attended find national convention of production Engineers arranged by Indian hidasi.,tute of production Engineers at Bengalore during 3 rd to 6 th December 1985 and presented a paper, "Use of 2 Aries Microprocessor controlled N. C. Coordinate Table on machine Tool "

3 ) 'Laminar flow Meter ' by Dr. N. K. Sane, Dr. M. B. Sajanikar and Miss A. N. Tikekar sent for publication at National Symposium on Instrumentation held at NAGPUR.

4 ) `Augmentaion of Laminar flow heat transfer ' by. Dr. N. K. Sane, Miss A. N. Tikekar and Shri B. G. Kulkarni accepted at Internationall H. M. T. Conference.

5 ) Shri S. P. Chavan attended a National symposium on Vibration in Power Plant Equipment arranged at.B.A.R.C. Bombay during 19 to to 21 st March, 1986.

Summer Schools/ Winter School/ CHIP / Short Courses Attended
I ) Dr. M. B. Sajanikar attended a pre-selection workshop for software development and teachers trainers from 27th Jan. to 31 st Jan. 1986 at NCERT Delhi.
2 ) Shri D. G. Dahake attended a summer School of 'Self employment and enterpreunership' at Ktiaitan Polytechnic Jaipur.

Lectures Delivered :
1 ) Following staff members delivered lectures at newly started engineering colleges, Start P. G. Ramdasi
Shri V. R. Marathe, A. G. Potdar, S. B. Digewade, J. G. Kulkarni , V. M. DIwan
2 ) Shri A. V. Deshingkar is delivering Lectures in Production Management to M. B. A. course students at C,C.C. Sangli.
3) Prof. B. D., Kelkar delivered a lecture on 'Project Planning for a small scale Industry' during a two day seminar of M. B. A. students of Padmabhushan Vasantraodada Institute of Management at Sangli on 20.12-1985.
4) Prof B. D. Kelkar delivered a lecture on Student Teacher Interaction ' in a Teacher's Day function organised by Rotaract ' in the College on 5 th September 1985.
5) Prof B. D. Kelkar participated in the " Marathi Vidnyan Lekhak Melava " Held at Pune during 15 th and 16 th March, 1986 in the Mahatma Phule Museum organised by Srushtidnyan' Magazine.

Other Activities :
1)Sluice valves as required by ISI and other testing work related to Mechanical Instruments. The Department is actively engaged in testing work of Centrifugal pumps,
2) P & T Section of Department is acti-vely engaged in developing teaching aids such as wall charts, board models and equipments and there is a very good response from Newly started Engineering Golleges, Polytechnics and ITI in our state.
3) Prin. Dr. P. A. Kulkarni worked as co-ordinator for inspection of four new Engineering Colleges in the Shivaji University area'
4) Prof. M. G Bhat worked as an expert in the Committee appointed by Gove-rnment of Maharashtra to evaluate the performance of Lew Engineering Colleges.
