I worked in WCE as a Research Asst in 1971-72, then as a PG student in 1972-74 and then as an Asst Lecturer, Lecturer, HoD_Poly wing till 1984. Left WCE,after completing 10yrs and 2 months, to join TKIET as a Professor & Vice-Principal,0n 6th Nov 1984.(Waradnanagar). I became Chairman,Ad-hoc BoS, S.U.

Joined Sanjivanee Education Society's CoE on 1st August 1991 as a Principal and left it on 6th Oct.1994 to join VIT,Pune, as a Principal. I became the the first Director of a private un-aided institute,(VIT), in the Western Region, in Feb 2008.

I was also Dean, Faculty of Engg, Pune University in 1999-2000.

That is it. I served on the Executive council of ISTE 1988-1992, for two terms and continued on it as a Treasurer till 1993.

I served on BoG of two NITs, REC Suratkal & Jaipur, as a member nominated by Govt. of India.

I also served as a member BoG on AIT, Bangkok.

 ❑ Worked on a number of committees appointed by the Govt at State & National level.
❑ Worked for a long time on Boards of Governors(Management) of many Institutes of repute and Universities in India & abroad.
❑ worked as Member of committee for Norms & Standards for Engg institute at AICTE/ISTE & State level.
❑Worked as Executive Concil member on ISTE & other Professional Societies.

-Best Engineering College Principal Award at national level by ISTE in the year 1999.
- Recipient of "PRA,' Maha Intrapreneur" Award in the year 2009.
-Life time Achievement award by MAEER's MIT, Pune
-Felicitated by Pune Municipal Corporation for contribution to Technical Education in the year 2000. -Awarded by Lions Clubs International for "Yeoman's Service rendered in the field of education" in the year 1998.
- "Significant Contribution Award" by Rotary Club in the year 2001.
