Other Activities :
1) Founder President of Association of Past Students of Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. More than thirty thousand students have studied for degrees and Post graduate degrees in Walchand College of Engineering. I had the lions share in the formation of Association of Past Students. I am the Founder president of the Association of Past Students.
2) Chairman, Scholarship committee of Engineer's and Architects Association, of Sangli Dist. From 1980 to 1994. To invite the applications of the poor students in Walchand College of Engineering, personally interview them and select the required number of students for scholarships in the form of financial help.
3) President, Engineer's and Architect's Association of Sangli Dist. 1985-86 Arranged various activities, and two days Seminar on " Ownership Flat Systems" which was the burning problem during those days.More than 150 Engineers attended the seminor making it a grand success.
4) Vice Chairman, Nutan Buddhibal Mandal, Sangli Chess competition
5) Formation of Association of Past Teacher's of Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli.

1) Attended more than 15 conferences of Principals from 1981 to 93.
2) Attended more than 25 Seminars on various subjects for Refreshing and Upgradation of knowledge
Personal Interest as Duty of Principal of Polytechnic :
1) Created healthy atmosphere in Teaching Staff and encouraged them to try their best to impart engineering.knowledge to the students.
2) Persuaded the teaching staff members to evaluate the students by taking regular class tests. 3) Persuaded the students to attend all lectures and practicals very sincerely for their benefit.
4) Arranged number of visits to the projects and Industries and arranged Educational Tours.
5) Persuaded the students of second year that they should visit minimum five Projects or five Industries in the summer vacation to collect all information and give a seminar on the information collected, for about 10 to 15 minutes to the staff members and other students.
6) Video shooting of the projects done by the Final Year Students was done and showed to the students of the next batch coming for Final Year, so that they can start their projects from the beginning of the year.
7) On the first day after college admission of the first year students, all the students and their parents were given full idea about the education, and the Rules and Regulations of the college. The students were asked to take the oath which was as follows : 'I BOW GOD, MY FATHER AND MOTHER, AND TAKE THE OATH, THAT DURING MY EDUCATION IN THIS COLLEGE,I WILL NOT DO SMOKING,I WILL NOT DRINK WINE AND I WILL NOT TAKE ANY DRUGS HARMFUL TO MY BODY.'
Educational Activity other than Engineering :
1) Designed and Developed an interesting game on the subject of Geography named as" Loot the Treasure, Travel by Rail or Road". This game is to be played on the map of India specialy designed for this game. Very useful for the students of 4th , 5th and 6th standards. While playing this game the students travel on Railway routes and National Highways ,enter every state and know and remember the location of the state, the capital of the state ,important routes and important railway stations national highways and important cities on them. Knowing the educational importance of this game, DOOR DARSHAN arranged the demonstration of this game twice in the Programme of KILBIL section and it was shown three times.
2) Designed and developed an interesting game on Mathematics for Primary School Students, named as WIN GOLD MEDAL. While playing this game, the students of Primary schools solve number of examples on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Very important Social Work : Mr. M. R. Joshi, was the Head Master of Bapat Bal Shikshan Mandir and then at Athavale Vinay Mandir.He used to take Special class of the students of 4th standard of the school for the preparation for scholarship examinations,without charging any fees.About 100 students secured the Merit Scholarships.He had no children and was staying with his wife in a very ordinary house of two rooms.He had a plot and wanted to construct a house.He had only Rs.5000 with hiin. He requested me to construct a ordinary house in Rs.5000. Being a civil engineer I made the plan of;3 rooms, got the permission from the municipal corporation, and contacted number of parents of those scholars,collected the amount and constructed a very nice three room bungalow and handed over the bungaloW to Mr.Joshi as GURUDAKSHINA.This is the first bungalow in Maharashtra built from the contribution from scholar students and their parents to shOw respect to the teacher ,who had taken troubles continuously for number of years without charging any fees for his special class.
Visits to Other Countries :
1) Visited U.S.A.in the year 2000. Stayed in California for 4 months and visited most of the visiting places in west U.S.A.
2) Visited U.S.A.in the year 2003. Stayed in California for 5 months and visited number of places in east U.S.A.
3) Visited 9 countries in EUROPE in the year 2005 for 13 days. 4) Visited Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore in 2010 for 9 days.
