5.Graduated in Civil Engg, from Walchand college of engineering, Sangli in 1964.
Joined WCE,Sangli as Asst.lecturer in civil engg. immediately thereafter.

Subsequently, completed M.E.Civil from Shivaji University and Ph.D. from I.I.T. Bombay in 1979 and rose to become Professor and Head of Civil Engg. Deptt. at Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli.

6.Specialised in Water Resources Engineering.Initiated a vacational P.G. programme in water
resources engineering and guided many students for their masters.

Designed many large size lift irrigation schemes for Krishna Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana.

Participated as faculty in conducting training courses for State govt. officers on behalf of Administrative staff college, Govt. of Maharashtra.

Coordinated and conducted summer schools for the teachers i. in Hydraulics ii.Construction management and iii.Ground water flow and hydrology.

7.Voluntarily retired from Walchand college in 1996 and joined KIT’s college of engg., Kolhapur as Principal of the college. During 2 years tenure there, I was responsible for development of various laboratories, motivating faculty for improvement of qualifications(pursue masters and Ph.D.)

8.From July 2000 to May 2005 worked in Dr. J.J.Magdum college of engineering, Jaysingpur as the Principal of the college. AICTE had put up many stringent conditions and I was responsible for appointing good faculty, establishing various laboratories, shifting college to Are new campus, constructing new buildings for the departments, hostels, gym facility etc etc.

9.I am a life member of various professional bodies such as I.Institution of engineers, Calcutta, ii.Indian association of Hydrologists, and iii.Indian Water Resources Society,Roorkee, iv,Indian water works association, Mumbai, v.Indian Society for training and development, New Delhi, Indian society for technical education, New Delhi.
